Delete Your Account

If you would like to delete your Homie account and all associated data, you have two options: delete it directly from the app, or request deletion by email.

Option 1: Delete from the App

You can delete your account directly within the Homie app:

  1. Open the app and tap the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner
  2. Go to the Profile tab
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you can no longer access the app, send an email to the address below with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your Homie account so we can locate and verify your account.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

Note: If you are the only member of a household, the household and all its shared data will also be deleted. If other members remain, shared data (e.g. expenses, shopping items) that involves other household members may be retained in anonymised form for their records.

Processing Time

If you delete your account from the app, deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
